# Marketing: Customer.io (Email)

Behavior-based messaging platform for email, push, SMS, and in-app.

Call the `run_marketing_tool` tool with `tool: "customer-io"` and `args: [...]` — args is the same
`{resource} {action} [--flag value ...]` shape as the CLI itself. Output is JSON on stdout.

Example: `run_marketing_tool` with `tool="customer-io"`, `args=["--help"]`.

Needs the secret(s) `CUSTOMERIO_APP_KEY, CUSTOMERIO_SITE_ID, CUSTOMERIO_API_KEY` set in the vault (Secrets UI) — ask the operator to add them if
